This is my view of Iraq:

Me and two of my housemates (Jeff and John, from left to right) after we got into a fight with 15 other kids (there were four of us total). They ran away after they hit us a few times and then we hit them back. Much harder.


Me drinking with John, because we're so close. Wow, is that gay? We're super heterosexual though, I swear.


Me and John again. Drinking. And looking relatively gay. We wanted to show everyone how cool we were because we wear our dog tags all the time. Which is cool, I guess.


My house plus the house full of girls across the street, plus other friends who live on campus (losers). At my house, for the last party of fall semester. The awesome thing was, me and John (also in Army ROTC) had to drive an hour to Cornell University for our friend's commissioning ceremony at 8 the next morning. Meaning we needed to wake up at 6. Good times.



Oh, and nice Thor's Hammer pendant, Dark Elf. Are you one of those crazy neo-Viking pagans now? If so, I support it. The Vikings ruled. One might even say that they pwnd.

On her 3rd birthday.

 

I can't stand wearing mine next to the skin, I find it super irritating. Fortunately, you wear them outside the collar and T-shirt in a flight suit, because in the event your aircraft catches on fire, you don't want them melting to your skin.

 

I had the same problem for a while (the irritation, not the melting), but I got used to it after ten days in the field without washing or any such niceties and constant wearing of tags. Now I just leave them on 24/7. When I take a shower, they get washed too.

I'm pretty sure that's one of the best possible views of Iraq there is.

It looks like The Sausage Ratioâ„¢ is high there. That combined with the latent homosexuality of the pics you posted of you and your buddy calls into question many things.

 

I did. It's been a nice little private joke. Everyone's working hard to earn a custom avatar in a year, but as far as I'm concerned, I got one my second week.
