The Name Game (with apologies to Shirley Ellis)

I read in another post that the name you choose for your character effects the random treasures found in, e.g., the chest guarded by the shaman at the crash site. I wonder what sort of name would be needed to come up with some decent scores early on in the game. I get crud from that chest almost every time.

Yes, your name is what determines the items in randomized chests. I just tend to make up names, and whatever goes, goes.

 

Can names influence store inventory at the magick shopkeepers in Tarant ?

Somehow I never got Teleportation scroll when I tried to break the russian guy's record at speedrun.
