the little mage or priest in the panarrii temple at caladon...he has three cases, one of which has the glass key...there are diff. ways to get it..don't want to completely spoil...:grin:

What iron chest?

 

The "Ancient Iron Chest" in the Tarant museum. Most people use a fate point to lockpick it...Never opened it myself...gotta get around to that someday...

 

So there is a key for it. I too uses fate point.

 

Glass Key

Having completed the game a couple of times now, I too was stuck obtaining the Glass Key for some time. Playing a "good guy," is there more than my solution to this? And yes, I still had all my fate points...hmmm..:smile:

 

Destroy the chest.

 

ahhh ty. Tried shooting the display case. After wasting 25 rounds I took my followers down the hall, had them "wait," went back and killed the little gnome archaeologist. This unlocked all three display cases.

 

Killing the head of the musuem opens all the chests? I have one character who wasted him (my thief, to get the Lethe Wyern venom), guess I should check it out when he next goes back to Tarant :smile:.

 

The display cases within the temple in Caladon containing: glass key, a monster's eyeball, and a skeletal finger are secured by magic. Dispell didn't work. Perhaps with some hard earned skill points devoted to persuasion, the gnome archaeologist/priest could be convinced to relinquish the glass key....dunno. After mastering: firearms, healing, repair, smithy, and mechanical (expert lockpick and dodge as well) there were not enough points left for pursuasion. hmmm playing a tech dwarf would save a few points. Maybe on the next character.:smile:

 

2 ways to get that stuff - do a certain quest, or kill the bastard. Only ways.

 

What quest?

 

Without spoiling it too much, search around the ring of Brodgar in Roseborough. You have to have already done the whole "Nasrudin's tomb" part already, though.

 

now i'm playing for the third time already
but i never did a quest about his grave except the quest of the archeologist...
but nothing with the ring of brodogar.

What is the quest?

 

Something like searching for the remains of Nasruddin. How it is possible that you can finish the game without knowing about this quest. Talk to all the 3 persons in the temple. Make sure you get all the information you need.

 

What the @#$@% is the connection between nasrudins remains and the ring of brodogar?
