ter'el, elven trader, and my dwarf

so im thinking about starting the gods quest and am in the process of getting all the parts for the first circle.problem is im TA of 88 and i cant get the ter'el statue off the elven trader. now ive picked his chest, killed him, pick pocketed him, etc etc and every time i open the chest there is no ter' el in there.

so is this something that i can only get if i have less than a TA of 70 or am a higher level (im level 20 right now).

 

There's no way you can buy it?

Get some cursed item that can kill/poison/etc, put them near him, let him pick them up, and wait. As soon as he is dead, you can start hitting his chest, get Li'tani (and some loot to sell).
Oh, and don't forget to bring some reanimator or what the fuck is that, if you don't want to kill innocent people (bah).

 

well the problem is even if i do that its not there.
