Potion of persuasion does not do anything as far as i can tell...

Mind marvel only raises charisma by 2 pts.

    Any other options?

Making the high end thereupatic/herbology potions are just such a pain unfortunately.

The Potion of Persuasion temporarily boosts your Persuasion skill by 2/20.

The Mind Marvel raises all mental stats (including charisma) temporarily by 2. The Revitaliser raises all stats - mental and physical - temporarily by 2 and it can be stacked with the Mind Marvel for a total bonus of +4 to charisma.

The Vendigrothian Elixir temporarily boosts all mental stats by 2, but it's technically a Vendigrothian Mind Marvel and does not stock with a regular Mind Marvel.

The Brain Builder permanently increases all you mental stats by 1 while permanently lowering all your physical stats by 1. Multiple Brain Builders can be used on a single target.

The Vivifier permanently raises all of your stats by 1, but it's an endgame schematic and only one item can be created due to the shortage of one of the ingredients.

Neutral ways of raising charisma would consist of the Gypsy Blessing (+1 CH), Kai'tan's blessing (+1 CH) and wearing the Jewel of Hebe (+1 CH).

The use of "single target" led me to consider the offensive potential for this item. Can this be used on an opponent?

Sure can. With enough doses of the Brain Builder a fierce warrior can be turned into an intelligent yet slow weakling.

Same goes for making mages forget how to cast their spells with the Muscle Maker.

Well, it's said that everything has the capability of being poisonous. I guess that's a quality of realism that wasn't necessarily intended, yet coded for in Arcanum...though I suppose it helps that everything works the same way on every humanoid character. Could something like this be done to an animal opponent? Like, making a bear really weak and slow, or making any magickal beast less magical? Hmmm...not so sure I'd want something willing to physically attack me to be any stronger.
