depends on you. Magic players (such as I) find it a little easier to complete the game. Tech players have a little tougher time of it, albeit a little more interesting as well. Tech players have their toughest time finding enough money to supply them in the beginning, I think. I haven't played a techie yet, that's next...
you are totaly wrong! the tech char can suply itself MUCH better than the Magick char! it can create lots of healing salves and pick lots of locks! (btw,i play with a magick char...)
Well techies have the easiest way of getting money... they just create stuff, good stuff with cheep components found everywhere, and then they sell those new items back! foolproof way of getting hardon cash quickly. But as said in ways of combat a mage has it alot easier then a tech! but they are both good! Besides it's more fun playing as a tech, increased exitement! More thrilling!
U sirs are WRONG! Techies, in the end, kick major ass. Check out the Warbringer. It is the best damned weapon in the game (from what I saw). Also, techies get to have free magic resistance/immunity, so foolish mages aren't a problem.
It´s individual, but as I, and most other see it, it´s like this: Mage: Easy but doesn´t bring much new experience in the RPG world. Techie: Alittle harder but brings alot of new and fun stuff into the RPG gaming. My reccomendation is that you play both, starting out as a mage since there is some new issues that you want to learn before playing the Techie.
My one an' only winning character was a techie. After that, I wanted the hard drive space for the games I planned on getting for Xmas, so I quit without finishing the mage or the thief I started.
lia, hasn't anyone told you that if you want a specific avatar (mace's or bow and arrow), just send a private message to jinxed our mod here and let him know which one you want and he'll change it for you straight away.
