In fallout you could get by lots of the game with good diplomatic skills. I've been playing with a melee techno character so far, i think i will try a more diplomatically inclined char next time. Will it be hard playing like this, is there diplomatic solutions to some of the battle intensive parts - i can't really get by without good combat skills can i? (thinking about black mountain and wheel clan).
yes there is alot dimplomaticx action that gets you alot easyer and better through but there are parts like the thanatos island or the mines you mentioned that need raw prowess. but diplomatics are a must in anyones book unless youre an idiot savant or a dumbass ogre _________________ Anime Otaku Morning Musume Aikawa Nanase Don't be Baka Arigato Gozaimasu! [ This Message was edited by: Jinxed on 2001-09-29 23:24 ]
It can be done if you rely on loads of followers for the "dungeons". The only disadvantage is that you won't level nearly as fast without the dumbass "experience by blow" that comes from front-line combat.
It's possible. Currently I'm playing a diplomat character with high beauty and charisma. As she won't fight at all she has uses the other party members to protect her and a Stillwater Blade which you can use to summon 3 wolves as well.
The animal you summon depends on your magickal aptitude. I think it goes: Wolf, Grizzly bear, Gorilla, Vorpal Bunny (these rule).
