Stuck like Chuck... Can't get to Caladon

I now have a full blown ulcer! I've tried all that I can to trigger the quest for Caladon (read book in Tarant library, visited twilly's grave, train, & boats). I can not seem to get my scrawny butt to Caladon. Please help before I get really desperate and start over... :0

To get to Caladon:
01) Use the level 5 spell of Divination which is Telportation.
02) Buy a scroll of Teleportation.
03) Buy a ship.
04) Do the quest to get a ship.
05) Have someone get you there through a ship. Someone told me that there is one in Tarant.
06) Walk through there by passing Gorgoth's Pass.
07) Walk to get there by passing Hardin's Pass then the Bridge.

 

One simple thing, your main quest must be find Victor Minsk. Or else Caladon won't appear on the main map. I don't think you can ever get there if the main event is not triggered. Try reading the book from the librarian again.

I also am stuck with no way to get to Caladon. I also tried (well at least tried) to get Sierra to pass the problem to the dev team to get the bug fixed)

I tried reading the book several times including : after visiting graves, visiting librarian, reading in the library after talking to librarian, while having sex with Raven. Nothing works.

I tried 'finding' the pass by walking every bit of the mountain region and the pass never showed up.

I went to EVERY boat in EVERY city and there is NO BOAT going to Caladon. There will NEVER be a boat going to Caladon until the quest is given. This is as game stopper and all Sierra did was tell me how to return the game!!! I wish I had Ken and Robins' email address to send them the tech 'help' email like that!!!
