Strange things that happened to me this play.(many spoilers)

Having started Arcanum again after a 3 year(ish) gap, a few strange things, some normal, some not so normal.

1) I had vollinger and after Tsen Ang, he usually attacks me but this time, I got the Molochean Hand to stop attacking me, and he joined me, which was a nice surprise. I'm sure this is obvious but I always avoid walkthroughs so there's things I don't know. But I like this because I find new things like this time.

2) Also at the same time Virgil left me (I've played his full story before). But this time when I got him back he didn't turn into Zen Virgil, which was quite annoying. Is this due to the lev cap being removed because he was level 53 (I wouldn't have minded him going back to 25 though he's still better after) or is it drogs patch? I wanted Zen virgil he's a lot better.
Also because he was level 53 the first time i got there he didn't die hahah! and was talking to me about being dead, so i loaded up and made sure he actually died.

3) I finished the whole mannox mission, but it was very annoying! the door after the 2 front (inside) doors said it was open but it wouldn't open, so I constantly had to travel through the sewers. Sorry this is a bug really but it really annoyed me heheh. Thats the only problem with games like arcanum, once you've played them you know the story so you have to be careful not to do things too early which may have caused this glitch i got.

4) oh something else (i just did it heh) Was that I took Magnus and Loghaire thunder stone to the Iron clan and got a really good scene where Loghaire made Magnus the head of the Iron clan, it was really cool.

(this was not my evil play, I am currently playing 2 saves heheh)

Anyway. Yes, Vollinger is a Molochean double-agent. If you convince Gideon Laier that they're being used for a dark plot (via Joachim's book), Vollinger will stay with you rather than turn coat.

And if the door won't open, open it. ^_^

Anyway. Doesn't Vollinger come clean and give you the option of staying with him after your meeting with Gideon?
Does the player get this option at Vollinger's Meeting Place?
I've only gotten the first one before.

I talked Gideon down and still didn't get any options at Vollinger's meeting. I wanted to kill the little runt anyway, but I'm disappointed.

Btw, I found out that if you're an elf with a reasonably high combination of Beauty and Charisma (10 and 20, in my case,) M'in Gorad will spare your life for a big juicy O...and Raven will get jealous to hear that it's a female that you spent that much time with.
