1.I want to head the negotiations between Caladon and Tarant, but Willie doesn't seem to pick me. I've got: INT 20, CHA 20, BEAU 20, Persuasion at full+Master, and alignment 100 (Yes, I editted it a bit to check if I could do it... I really want to try the negotiations ) Should I use something to temproaraly boost my cha&int? if so, what? 2.I'm a Tech-guy, but I'd also like to get into some magic. Should I invest a bit in magic? if so how will I also keep myself a bit of a techie (I've read somewhere here that the more tech you are the better things you're offered at tech-shops... and I NEED schematics). If so, should I make myself magical and edit the char to make sure it's still 100/150 Tech? 3.In Rosenborough there's a stone which lists numbers and directions, this stone was supposed to be in the middle of the stone-circle. Obiviously it's the number of steps you have to take in each direction from the centre of the circle to reach something... But what is it? is it part of the plot/main-quest I should only go to after a certain thing? or a bonus thingie? 4.How many followers can a character have with CHA of 20? 5.Should I get rid of the dwarven sorcerer? since I need a place for Raven in the group. And what about the healer-lady I find in Dernhold, she hardly heals anyone. Infact the only reason I keep her is because she's a good warrior. My current followers: Virigl That drunken half-ogre from Shrouded hills. The healer-lady Magnus Sorcerer-Dwarf Smythe (hehe, I can still board the train with him) Sebastian And an Automaton.
Uh. I was under the impression that the limit for followers is 4. No matter what your charisma is. Jayna only heals people if she has healing salves. You have to give her gingka and kadura and then have her make them. It depends how tech you are and what spells you plan to invest in. The more tech you are, the less likely the spells are to work properly.
So when hacking to get the expert/master thingie of the skills you don't actually get their bonuses? And why wouldn't work?
No it isn't. It's simply taking advantage of something in the game. Like using grenades... or schematics or anything else in the game in that manner! Cheating would be using an editor in multiplayer... EDIT: What do the Magic Beans do? I've pickpocketed them from a hostile gnome at Caladon. [ This Message was edited by: T'pek on 2001-12-23 11:27 ]
