Ok, I know the game is out, and I'm having a ball playing it, but I was also enjoying Shellman's Mod. Will there be more in the future. I'd hate to think we'll never find out how to open the tree stump.

    Shellman's mod is alive!!!

I've seen Shellman post elsewhere that she has nearly finished the next version of the mod, so you should see another Mod Building article soon (she wasn't exact about timeframes though - which is not surprising with all the other demands on her time at the moment!).

    The Stump revealed!!!!!!!!!

With the "handy undat tool" I uncompressed shellman's dungeon mod and looked at the tree stump. There was no script attached to it. It was just magically locked and a special "invulnerable" flag was checked on it's properties. It only contains random M1 magic items. (when I recompiled with the invulnerable flag off I opened it with dispel magic and it contained a ruby and a healing potion.) The great stump was appearantly a little mistake.

By the way, It did do the extract pretty well, all the paths were there and the teleport scripts for going through passages and for showing slides when you finish were there. (It did mess up and remove the light of day for some reason though.)
