Ask the shoppkeeper what he/she has for sale, go to their items, drag them to the red arrow at the bottom left hand corner, then drop two or three of your own itens on the ground. Go back to your ordinary screen and pick both of them up. The shoppkeeper's items have to be more than one, because then it would'nt make a pile. You have to do it in that same order. Also you have to be right next to them.

Why do you hate Virgil? He's no worse than, say, a waffle iron.

    Wow! :-o

Now, isn't that a cheat? Heh, why buy anything when you can just drop it on the ground?

Gah, now you just created a moral dilemma for me MatahChuah. From now on, I'll have to fight hard keeping myself from using that trick to get whatever equipment I desire like a munchkin. I hate you! :p

    Waffles. I love waffles. Yum...

Come now, Dark Elf, if you the item, just get it. It not a cheat, it's stragedy. Forgive my spelling. You can't drop items that the shoppkeeper is selling, just the items they have equipped.

Oh, then I didn't understand you completely. The way I got it I thought you could take any item from a shopkeepers inventory, throw it to the ground along some of your own stuff, pick it up and laugh.

But... taking their worn equipment like that would still be cheating in my book. I mean, like stripping the dwarf shopkeeper in machined platemail from his armor...

    You call that strategy? :ponder:

If you're in desperation, using the trick is better than wasting a fate point. You gotta hand me that!

Which shoppkeeper has a looking glass rifle? None that I know of. Remember this only works for shoppkeepers.

Sure it's better than using a Fate Point. It doesn't even come for a price! But it's still cheating, you can't deny that. :)

    But, each to their own.

    And, MatahChuah...

    You're a Munchkinâ„¢ :D

I tried this trick in my forever unpatched game. Didn't work. The item falls under the shopkeepers feet and gets equipped back immediately. Any items I drop onto it fall under my feet and nt the shopkeeper's.
