Schematics for followers and guns

Hey, just wondering, can you give your followers those extra schematics you find/buy? I mean, will they actually learn and use them, and thus make them when you ask?

Also, are there any decent guns out there? I've got a level 19 gunfighter, I've tried building a few of those extra gun schematics but they just suck. That high-velocity pistol (accelerator gun and fancy pistol, which by the way has the same stats as a regular revolver for three times the price) is worse than the fine revolver! The accelerator gun also blows, not much damage for 3 bullets used for each shot.

Are there any extra decent guns out there - are the flamethrower/acid gun/blade launcher/Bronwyck's gun any good? I plan on dropping Sogg so I can get Sebastian (I currently have Sogg, Virgil, Magnus, Gar and the dog), and I want to make a decent gun for us both to use. Any advice is appreciated.

unfortunetly you can't give your followers any schematics. But yes there are some good guns out there Like the looking glass rifle I don't want to spoil your game by giving yoou the stats but it rules and also the Tesla gun is awesome, Bronwicks gun is good in turn based mode

 

you should give sebastian bronwycks gun cuz
i ve think this guns makes extrem damage vs some creatures and ammo is easy to build with
wine and yeast (once you ve the schematic)
the long range pistol also works fine if you give it to franklin payne (its so stupid he has a elaphant gun when you meet him this gun requires a streght of 11 but he has a streght of 7)
i think the tranquilizer gun is also nice but does anybody knows a better one hand pistol then the fine revolver ?

Such a shame about those schematics :sad:

 

there is a schematic which combines los and gun chassis and makes a long ranged sniper-kind revolver.It's better.

 

at the ile of despair, there is some ancient wreck with 2 strange shematics: one for a resurrect potion, another for an ancient gun (I wasn't a gunsmithy, so I couldn't test it)
You get one of the component by giving an ancient artifact (one of the filament, looking glass lying around the ancient wreck) to a collectionner in the main village...
