Somewhere along the way, my perception and beauty were both diminished by two points each and are now shown in red numerals. How can these attributes be restored? Thank you for the help.

check your journal, see if they are wounds. if they are, talk to someone (such as doc in shrouded hills) and have them healed. if they are not wounds... umm.. try resting. that helps sometimes too, because of fatigue or whatever.

Yeah, sound's like you got some scar's... altough i've never heard of a perception drop happening though.... get a major heal spell done on your char and see if that help's.

Most helmets will drop your preception by one. If it's down by two, I suppose you could have an eye injury. Or be drunk. Or cursed.

Look in the injuries and blessings/curses sections of your logbook. And if you really need that one point in perception, take off the damned helmet.

I don't think there are curses that reduce perception. That cursed blade reduces DX, curses for killing the gypsy and that Williamson girl reduce CH.
Beauty penalty could be a scar, or maybe a curse for killing the priestess in Stillwater.

Ter'el's Curse will lower perception by one, as well as giving a penalty to bow. :)
