rebuilding the altar

    I'm trying to complete the second task for Stringy Pete and so I'm in Torrins Quarry looking for the stone to rebuild Halcyon's altar. I've read the other posts concerning this, but they are mainly concerned with how you need to have the proper STR and inventory space to pick it up. My problem is that I can't even find the stone. I've killed the apes, I'm in that little area where you find the corpse of an elf. There are alot of stones around, but none of them light up when I highlight them. Where can I find the right stone?

    Make sure that none of your party didn't vacuum it up when you were dealing with the gorillas, or whatever those beasties were. That happened to me once and I went nuts looking for it until I checked their inventories.
