Please feel free to beat me upside the head with a rusty shovel if I am doing this wrong, but I do not wish to be known as he who upsets the buried dead. I have an additional question in regards to this topic and wanted to ask it. Note that, though rroyo answered the question, I encourage responses from anyone knowledgeable on the subject matter.

If the dialog in question (in my case, Virgil) doesn't have any extra room, would an effective means of expanding the section I want (in this case, his What is it you want of me? section) be to change one of the lines to something like [more] and have that link to the new section of dialog?

This is really a reference for the future, when I get more heavily into dialog editing. Currently, I just changed the Barter screen option to what I wanted, as I never use it from dialog, instead opting to call it by clicking on Virgil's portrait in the party screen.

    Thank you all kindly.

Wlecome to the forum, Munacra Arret!

To answer your question, yes you can.
Drog used this same method when he made a test-cheat version of Virgil's dialog. Here it is:

The re-route begins at line 458.
