    What exactly was this bug?
    Something to do with the romance storyline?
    Was it fixed by the patch?

    I remember reading about this a while ago but when I searched I came up with 200 useless threads. Most of which only mentioned Raven in the context of "naked" and "hot elf action".

    Yes, it did have to do with the romance storyline. If you were an half-elf, when Raven separated herself from the group near the conclusion of the game, the dialogue option for you two to hook-up wouldn't appear and you wouldn't be able to have her rejoin the group for the excursion into the Void. And yes, it was fixed by the patch.
