Raven beach scene in Caladon?

It's been years since I played the game, but I seem to remember there being a scene with Raven on the beach in Caladon if you have been doing the romance.

Does anyone know or remember how to trigger it, or if it has any requirements? Do I have to get the Vendigroth device first?

All I know is that I got as far as speaking with her in Caladon, and she talks about how I should come back later with her to see the oceanfront with her at night.

 

The only other love scene with Raven is when you take her into the Ring of Brodgar and she stops for a quicky. Until then line of dialogue in Caladon is all you get.

 

Can anyone else corroborate this? Am I remembering incorrectly? It has been a while.

 

I once played with Raven in my team. There was no scene at no beach, but she indeed took the initiative to consummate the relationship just before getting banished. It happens if you treat her nicely (probably), have a good alignment and are a human, elf or half-elf.

 

I'm pretty sure she'll go for a half-orc too. The key is getting her reaction high enough. When you first meet her you also have to say something to the effect of, "Your respect makes it all the more worthwhile" or something like that.

 

I just checked the matter.

With a half-orc, even if I invested a fate point to force a good reaction from Raven, had 20 Beauty, 20 Charisma, 20/20 Persuasion + mastery, 100 alignment, a reaction of over 200 from her and picked the most nauseatingly sweet lines, I still wasn't able to soften her heart.

I tested it with all races and it seems that indeed only humans, elves and half-elves are able to get Raven all sugary on them.

 

Well... damn. Maybe I should just shut my mouth before I make a bigger fool of myself.

Could have sworn she would go for a half-orc, but alas... my memory...

Raven is kind of racist and snappy anyway. Z'an is nicer.

 

Ah, Z'an Al'urin, now that's a lady that should have had an in-game romance subplot included.

Actually, the romance bit isn't really that necessary. Simply spending some wild, unfettered, non-committal spare time together would do juuust fine.

 

I'm quite sure I shouldn't be as aroused as I am right now.

On one hand, it's even quite tempting, on the other - writing erotic fanfiction with elven wizards? If that wouldn't leave a nasty aftertaste of becoming a male version of Zanza's image of Xiao, I don't know what would.

 

I for one sure wouldn't mind reading DE's account of such an event.

 

Throw M'in G'orad in there while you're at it.
