Ok I just did the quest where you get the guys armor back from the abomination in Ashbury, and I'm really tempted to keep the armor and to tell the dude to smeg off whats the consequence of not returning it?

you'll botch the quest (not a big deal)

if you speak to him and you don't give him the armor you'll prob. have to kill him, i think he attacks...this will cause a slight decrease in you good vs. evil alignment....

the armour really isn't all that good...get the yellow looking armor from the blacksmith..it's better

Well, it is machined plate. It's pretty good for a follower if you don't want to wear it yourself.

Either way, it's a hell of alot better than the "reward" he gives you in exchange. If you really don't want to keep the armor, you'll make off with more money if you sell it to someone.

It's a pretty poxy machined plate. It's only a basic one, which sucks. I actually went in there without talking to him first, and he was forever frightened of me, because of my destroying the poisoned arcahnid inside. Oh well, free armour for me, and no whining bitch complaining about it...

After you give the armaor to the guy you can pickpocket him,to get it back.
and if you want another machined armor you can complete the mastery quest of Firearms.

This quest is also in ahbury.

I don't think it's worth 5 skill points in Firearms and roughly 10 in PE just to have the opportunity to get a machined plate .

You can actually get a set in Tulla, strange as it sounds .
