Question on Dwarf Armor

I just made a Dwarf Warrior who uses the Armor/Metal Tech Skill, I just need to know 2 things. Where can I find good armor for Dwarfs early in the game and can the Chainmail you can make with the tech skill fit only for you or is it normal size?

 

To my knowledge everything can be made in different sizes as long as you have an appropiate armor for component.

 

You can pick up some Dwarven Plate at the Wheel Clan, and sometimes you find some Arcane Plate or Arcane Leather in the sewers of Tarant.

As far as making stuff for dwarves, you just need the small version of the base armor. For instance, it the schematic calls for leatehr armor, use small leather instead to create the kind you use. (Word of warning though, there is no small Basic Platemail in the game.) :cry:

 

You can buy a leather armor in the Shrouded Hills, then you can buy an oiled chainmail in Tarant or a magick plate mail from Tarant magic smith.

Yes there is, on dwarf guards in the Wheel Clan. There's also two large Basic Plates on the ogre bodyguards of the gambler guy who appears in Black Root when you're meant to go to Thanatos.

The smith in Caladon has a pair of Dwarfen platemail i think , or if you do the Iron clan quest you'll find some Iron clan platemail

 

Oh and if you search the dwarf who is among the people waiting to bribe you when you're about to do the Caladon negotiations quest, you can steal a small Elite plate off him, too (I recommend it over any other tech plate armor, it gives plenty of protection with lower weight). And the blacksmith of Caladon is wearing a small Machined plate.
