problems and problems with Multiplayer..

well, first off, when i play in regular mode, after a few mintues the screen just starts going haywire, and the movements of my charachters are turned into a big black trail, like someone is using black spraypaint from Paintshop. secondly, running in safe mode or regular mode, multiplayer says i havent the most recent version, when i do and it says "there are no new updates" when i click update. then, it lists about 12 games all with 0 pings and no players. any ideas guys? this is really important to me, because my friends and i all want to play together. any help would be great, thx.

the first patch the released, the one that can be found on the offical site is buggy, i repeat, buggy

There is a patch to enhance multiplayer in the works.
