Hey mates. Okay, so I am planing on making an Arcanum based comic. While I have a broad plan for how its going to go, I still need to fill in some details. Unlike previous attempts I have seen on these forums, my story does not follow the main quest or character. But it would occur at roughly the same time and include some "oh we just missed them" parts.1 So, my questions to you: What favorite side characters would you like to see? My socialist side wants to put in Donn Throgg and I think Adkin Chambers could also be interesting. Luckily, this forum seems used to ambitious yet unfinished works, so it won't be too much of a disappointment if I only do zero to five pages. 1. Arcanum 2: The Other Chosen One?
Well played you two. I suggest Ristezzere to be included. He tickles me in ways that if a lady tickled me in that way, I'd say "Oh yeah, gotta get me some of that."
Voting for Perriman Smythe, Doc Roberts, Donn Throgg and Chancellor Willoughsby with his faithful bodyguard Lorham.
One of those folk who hangs around in bars offering a months wages to anyone who can answer basic triva. And his friend who beats up anyone who tries to talk to him.
Hello again, Finals are upon me so I haven't had much chance to work on this since my last post. However, I have made some notes on things I am adding and I'm going to post some of what I have (mostly cause it's better than than doing my schoolwork). Also, I've only played the game evil once so I don't have good reference for people in the evil plot line. Also Also, when I get time I will scan some of pictures I have managed to draw. Caladon: Magnus (leaving?) Preston Radcliffe - passport bulk fakes? Tarant: Donn Throgg Periman Smythe (subway?) Madam Lil Virgil-telegraph office Shrouded Hills: Ristezze Lukan the Witless (leaving Tarant?) Doc Roberts - intimidating Owen Black Root: Tyron - Cesare's mate (packing?) Liam - alives Ashbury: Virgil - complaining how lame it is Geoffrey - punched Other: Trivia peeps Rich bastards
Maybe it's just me not being a native English speaker, but I really don't understand what these verbs with the prefix m- mean.
Well, it's either a way to contract phrases such as "I am punched" by writing it "mpunch'd" and hoping that the reader has a loose enough grip on sanity to understand the conveyed meaning, or it is a subtle protest against the lack of African influence in Arcanum.
It's because I'm a linguistics major and I make up stuff. I forgot to take out the m's. (It's actually a focuser but that's not important.) Mpunchd is really just me putting the emphasis on Geoffrey getting punched. My best advice to to pretend they are not there. Or I might edit the post if it's possible.
