New, but itching to get started =)

I just picked up the game on christmas, but being a former Infinity Engine modder I can't help but want to tear into this stuff. So now onto the actual meaning behind this post :smile: :

1)I downloaded the savegame editor, but it does not work, i get this error:

You need the following file on your machine. MSSTDFMT.DLL

Where can I get it to put in my systems folder?

2)Is there an item editor for this game or is there one in the works?

3)How can I create new backgrounds? I read a thread below that says I need to extract 3 files, but I am not sure which three.

I am really anxious to get started into this because I see a lot of potential in this game. =P

3) I have never done backgrounds. You should ask someone else.
