Need some help with the world editor

I was playing around with the world editor for some days but without any success. So it would be nice if someone can link a useable readme or manual to the world editor. The one that is linked in this forum is not downloadable!

If that made ANY sense, Chaos..., please explain it to me because it looks like sheer jibberish and doesn't do ANYTHING to answer the question being asked! :x

I'm tired of the nonsense from certain people in response to serious questions from newbies. They just want an answer. So either give them an answer they can understand or keep quiet.

 

First, you claim that my posts (notice the plural) don't make sense (which would be referring to all the 32 i made so far); but then backpedal and claim to be referring only to the one i made here. Curious.

Second, don't confuse "jibberish" (gibberish, actually) with a lack of knowledge to what i was refering to; in fact, considering what i wrote was quite intelligible and was far from being written in a meaningless language, i'd hardly think calling what i wrote gibberish to be appropriate (though that may be just me i guess). The sentence was alluding to using a common technique to call a certain costumed vigilante (by having a searchlight projecting his symbol over the city to get his attention) but replacing him with chrisbeddoes. I assume you know who chris is, so i don't think i have to explain why i wrote that.

Third, i am new to these boards and if the kind of attitude you mention is common practice, then i apologize - though i think it would be appropriate to read and abide to your signature. It might be healthier if you don't freak out over microscopic things such as these.

 

I think he was simply trying to get the point across that Chris Beddoes needs to be contacted because he's our resident modder.

Well, he is volunteering the information that he COULD e-mail chrisbeddoes for further help.

 

That's ok, Chaosthehobo. What i posted was indeed meant to infer that chris might help, but it wasn't a "direct" post, hence the problem leading to an error which i'll refrain from commiting again. But if some people want to keep shoving it in my face, or going off on a pissing contest to regurgitate the obvious, whatever. I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

Though i should point out, however, that my "stupid batman reference" is as useless as someone pointing out again the same conclusion about my post, which is not only ironic, but in the end, also isn't contributing anything in the form of relevant information.
