I just finished killing the bandits and I am running around looking for creatures to kill I find some here and there but they are not steady. where can I find many creatures?
Sewers are usually good for finding a lot of easy fights. The first one you'll encounter is probably in Tarant. Dungeons are also good, but the enemies are a little tougher. If your levels are really low, then you might have to leave the dungeon and rest a couple of times before you're through with it. You will gain levels quickly though.
Don't forget to hunt down the wolves you left behind at the crash site. If you follow the valley until you've killed all the wolves you should be able to get another level out of it. Also don't forget to check around the outskrits of Shrouded Hill. There is a pack of wolves just past Gaylin's house and there is another pack of ailing wolves behind the mine. Also for faster advancement don't forget the many non-combat quests that you can do in Tarant. For fast early advancement try this: 1) get born 2) let virgil join but have him wait for you while you kill all the wolves and the shaman at the crash site, monitor your exp points and just b4 you level go back and let him join you so he will level when you do. (repeat this formula often for faster advancement of your charecter and his npc's) 3) leave Virgil again and go into cave and kill vermin there and get your first quest. come out get virgil and go complete the cave quest b4 you go to SH. (for extra exp. after you return what the preist wants, kill him and go back to the cave.) 4) you should have enough lvls once you've done this to kill the rest of the wolves while ur at crash site. following the mountian pass and killing the wolves should gain you another lvl. 5) now go to shrouded hill and complete quests. b4 you leave SH check your lvl if you are close 2 lvling kill all wolves surrounding SH town for that extra push. 6) in tarant clear the sewers then do all non combat quests (madame lils, the fotune teller, gentlemens club, etc.) once done you should have a comfortable jump on the rest of the game to get through it and still have fun  [ This Message was edited by: Eros Rex on 2001-11-26 03:53 ]
re: leaving virgil behind... it is better to take him with you and simply do the command to back off (one of the shortcut keys) so that you have a healer readily available... also you earn the experience virgil gets when he kills...although hits is a different issue...
