My newest story

So, I'm weighing my options.

A. A high fantasy story set in a world of my own invention. If I write one of these there'll be more threads related to it because I always seem to lose momentum and need help with them.

B. A more modenistic fantasy story involving two of my older characters, April and Rich, the dynamic duo of superhero bartenders. I could write endlessly about them, I just need someone to yell at me and make me.

C. A sort of Indiana Jones meets Alien adventure. I took a nap one day and had a crazy dream that's inspired this, I'll go more in depth with it if it wins.

D. My own spin-off of James Bond. In writing I think the most regrettable thing is to be intimidated by a topic, so none of my stories will shy away from any topic, least of all sex. I'm not writing pornos, but I'm also not going to filch details from legitimate parts of the plot. In true James Bond fashion this would probably have the most sex and fireworks, if that's what you're into.


I'll post this as I work on it, so that all of you know I don't just waste my time/life/college education.

 

I have to go with C. Mostly because it seems like a pretty original concept, fighting aliens with a leather whip and a 38. special, and parly because of the old proverb, "When in doubt, choose C."

 

Not sure, the only name I came up with so far is Jack B. Johnson. Enough of a phallic reference for you?

Other names will come to me though.

EDIT: Oh, by the way, I'm abstaining. Hell, if I could pick one I wouldn't need this poll.

Going with James Bond on this, mainly because there are rumors Sean Connery is returning as Bond in the next film.

I heard Colin Farrell would be playing Bond. Unfortunately, none of the new faces looks very Bondish.

 

A James Bond story would be cool, especially if he could fight a cabal of sorcerers with magic powers. (I'm sick of villians bent on world domination.)

 

I heard Cuba Gooding Jr. and Nelly (of all people! ffs...) are also in the running, Cuba being a favourite of Sean Connery.

modern fantasy.... primarily because you said you needed to be yelled at to write it....

and it sounds like it could be intriguing

 

James Bond is easily in the lead, followed by Modern, then Indiana Jones.

I've seen it, and since it is in the joke thread in a post without a joke it's just a joke.

 

I was fucking around with the mad libs story, I could never write anything like that anyway.

 

Write a story about a dude that does not posts jokes in the jokes thread and therefore gets strangulated by a half-naked swedish orc.

how do we know you aint yanking us around again? how do we know for certain that you aint string us along for 3-4 pages and then burn us in the joke thread again? how can we tell that this aint a very elaborate ploy to fuck with us? nice try...but its gonna be a long while before I trust a white bear
