This playthrough I had some fun with Don Throgg. My character is Gnome Illusionist, leaving Virgil outside of dungeons but I keep him around for random encounters. I am a master of Pickpocket (yes this gnome ran naked) and naturally I have tons of phat lewt. I planted an Arcane Greatsword (great find), Mystical Platemail, and other great stuff on Donn Throgg, and similar nice gear on his Orc buddies. I then persuaded him to attack the Tarantian guards. You can imagine what happened next. Dead guards everywhere missing limbs and heads. After the guards died Throgg and co proceed to slaughter every Tarantian they could get their hands on. Normally I would reload after permanently crippling the biggest city in the game, but I think I like it this way... Anyone have any interesting stories about this quest, or about the "plant item" feature (beautiful addition by Troika).
You can plant the gargantuan stones you find in Ashbury on people. People like Wheeler. That's always been a hobby of mine.
Hexed items have always been a traditional "plant" item. My favorite, though is planting armor/clothes on NPC's with standard clothed sprites who aren't wearing armor or clothes, and then stealing it back, oft leaving the character naked. Why don't people yell at them for being perverts?
