Was this written by the same writers of the game?

I've referenced that story many times in my posts as it is one of the only sources of Arcanum canon.
The in-game train station in Tarant is pretty shabby compared to the story description isn't it? Where do they moor the zeppelin?

It was that story plus The Races of Arcanum that got me to buy Arcanum.
I couldn't find it in a game shop anywhere at home. I only knew about it because I stumbled across that site when doing a random search for "rpg pc". I had to order it online for full price (I never pay full price). Then a couple of months later I was in America and saw a bunch in a bargain bin. Doh.

Paying full price for Arcanum's not so bad, though. I mean, the game's worth it. Or so I think, at least.

Yup, Cattivo, 'Sir Chadwick Moore' is one of the game developers.

It's an awesome story, innit? Sebastian and Perriman get some 'air time', I FINALLY found out what happened to him before El dragged him off to Vendigroth... *snicker*

I'm quite aware Moore isn't the real author, and the references to it in the actual game. I'm wondering if this is an official story written by the same writers of the Arcanum story, i.e. is it "canon" as TONGSyaBASS said.

Yeah, it's canon. (ooooh, never thought I'd use that word outside of silly Doctor-Who-themed bickering.)

I can't remember which developer has the 'Chadwick Moore' name, but it's around somewhere... I just can't remember where...

Moore was once mentioned in the game by Perriman. I wanted to get more about this from Per., but he didn't say anymore.

I quite like Perriman as a character, and I'm actually rather glad he didn't get a voice. No voice actor could rival the voice I gave him in my head.

So, I think he's made by Troika as a mystical character, about whom we must think and make suggestions.

I think he should have a voice somewhat like the one that Virgil has.

    No nononononononono.

In my head Perriman sounds a bit naive and occasionally even lost or bemused. He's in his early-mid twenties, and his voice (in my head) reminds me a little bit of the guy who voices Braska in Final Fantasy X... only younger and less 'OMG Yuna!'. Ahem.

I imagine Perriman having 2 very different tones. If he is talking to a superior he is very quiet and polite, almost to the point of snivelling. If he's talking to an inferior he is very short and sharp. Obey me you peasant! I'm a mage!

I imagine similar to Virgil. But he's so naive... straightforward and very scholastic, mind you, but he walks himself into situations that counter that mindset...

Sebastian's voice is deep, manly... just like yours truly (although he doesn't talk much... right? Maybe I should read more ^.^)...
