I have a weird problem with my right click. For some reason it doesn't work in inventory screen and I can't move items quickly as I have to drag drop them all. I have no idea why this is happening. I tried the search but found nothing on the problem. Anyone experienced the same? I haven't tried the repair yet, but I have patched my game. I'm running on Win Xp, 512 Mt ram, 2 gig cpu. Anyone? (I'm so happy for getting this new comp as now I can finish the game...my old just couldn't run the game at a playable level...it was a real pain in the what's-biggest-city)
Could it be a case of the Windows OS? I've got a 2-year-old system with a 1.3 Athalon processor, and an older trackball, in Win98. The mouse works fine.
Patch the game. If right click is not working, you are not patched. If you think you are patched, ask Magnus to leave & rejoin. Run repair, then the patch. If you rebuilt your HDD, & transfered your game out & then in, it could have lost the patch & won't be listed in your regestry & therefore cannot be patched. And your version number can show you as patched when you are not. Atholon 2200+, MSI KT4 ultra, Win ME. Patched & right clicking just fine.
I had the patch alright, but it didn't work. So I thought "no big deal" and continued playing, but then remembered that I want the exp cap to be a bit higher. So after a loooong search for a working link for the file I found it and used it and wtf? my right click starts to work too... dunno why, I don't really believe the exp cap did it, but... well, working now. So I don't complain, I just play
