    I may or may not try to start this (really depends on how easy worldedit is).
    How about Phillip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" saga. It plugs almost directly (at least for Northern lights) into the graphics Sierra have already done, so really all that needs doing for the first book would be sound, map-design, and scripting. The others would be harder, but doable.
    Let me know if you'd be interested in this project (regardless of whether I end up doing it or not), or if there's already a team working on it.
