Missing two locations and one person

Cannot locate the following:

Disclaimer: I have completed all the major and side quests, barring entering the Void, so this is all after the fact...

1. Vollinger - he's supposed to be in the King's Inn and Pub in Dernholm. A gnome. But he isn't there. Does he leave after a while? Did I need to acquire him when I was in Dernholm the first time in order to have him?

2. Vollinger's Meeting Place (1230W, 982S) - not on map - I imagine i need to have Vollinger in my party for this to trigger - nothing is at the coordinates at all - is this where he goes if he leaves the party at T'sen-Ang?

3. The Castle S'nel N'fa (1385W, 643S) - nothing is there - is there some event that triggers this location? If so, what?

Bonus question:
The Dark Elf Camp (345W, 650S) near the Vendigrothian Ruins exists on the map, but the camp is empty. What triggers this location?

You haft to follow the evil side of the story line, and you get it when you are sent after the Vendigrothian device.

You get sent there by the spot trap master to retreve a staff.

Other answer, you should find a book in a barrel at darkelf camp (if not then u have to play game evily )

 

Vollinger IS at the Inn in Dernholm and stays there for quite a long time. I've never noticed him leaving the Inn during any game I've played and I've playred several to a point where I think he would have left if her were going to do so. You are correct that you will not find Vollinger's Basement unless you get him to join you.

As Baal said, Castle S'nel N'fa is part of a quest and you must have the quest to get the location.

I've found the Dark Elf Camp, but it was deserted when I was playing a good character. I haven't gotten that far with a character that is evil yet.

There are also other locations that you will not find unless you get the quest that gives you their location. They generally have tile blockers in place to prevent you from simply stumbling onto them. The tile blockers are turned off when you take the quest and the location is marked on your map.
