    But seriously, they really must do something about this pathetic little man; there is enough proof (Blackmail, animal cruelty, stupidity) that could give him a one-way-ticket to jail. Oh man, this sort of stupidity makes me really mad. And yes, I think I just lost my last faith in humanity as well.

    Stupidity isn't illegal, and he claims cooking cats isn't illegal where he is either. And seeing as what he's threatening to do isn't illegal, this blackmailing is completely legal. It's the perfect crime, in that it is not a crime. It's absolutely genius.

    Wow... this is exactly like Savetoby.com Toby was a bunny and his "owner" was going to kill and eat him unless 50k was donated to his paypal account by a certain date. I'm pretty sure there were some negative consequences for him, so the same should hold true for kitty killer...

    Edit: according to wikipedia, the site owners remain anonymous and achieved 24k in donations. I guess there are no repurcussions, afterall.

    I've read up a bit on this, and since it's legal to kill your cat in Norway, as long as you don't make it suffer, it's more than likely legal everywhere else too. Except perhaps in Egypt, but seeing as they're Muslim now, they're probably over that.

    I may just have found a way to make 20+ k.

    I'm in Xz's camp on this one. While I think a celebrity's abstinence from Twitter is a stupid reason for killing and eating one's cat, I support the butchering and eating of the animal as long as it is done legally and humanely. I would be fine with this even if there wasn't a cultural precedent, however if this person were just murdering his cat and not eating it, I would be pretty upset about it.

    I think it's awesome, because he's blackmailing a 16 year old girl by threatening to eat a cat. I think it might have been even more awesome if he had just threatened to murder it.
