A master of magic quest??? I didn't know there was a master of magic quest. What are the requirements to get it? Who do you talk to? *Spoiler please*

Are the quests to become master in a college of magick... you know, when you meet the 16 magick masters in Tulla... they give you an amulet to transport you into the training chamber and... well, you remember now?

 

no, I truly did not know there was a master quest for each magic college. At the risk of sounding very ignorant, are there apprentice and expert quests as well?

 

No, just the master quests. I think the only requirements are that you max out the college you wish to become master of, and that your magick/tech aptitude is on the magick side.

 

correct, you need to have all spell levels for the college you wish to go for (force, temporal etc) then go and talk to the master of that college (force, temporal etc) and do a little job for him and he'll give you a nice shiny amulet. note that you can only have one college mastered at one time, but you can change to a different one if you wish.

 

Just make sure that you get all of the amulets from them first before taking the quests since you can't get the amulets off them after you are master. Or at least I couldn't. They said I was already a master of another college.

Unfortunately I can't remember which college it is, but you might find that you can never get the amulet for one particular college if you already have another one in your possession. In which case, simply pickpocket the master for it.

Once you have all of the amulets you can wear which ever one you like and walk into the purple teleport to take the test to become master of that college.

Also, in your diary it will say that you have become master of more than one college, but only the latest one you undertook will give you the benefits of being a master. I've had my diary say I'm a master of every single college before (I cheated just to see if it was possible. Not worth it though since you only get the benefits of the last one, so I reloaded). I just wanted to see what it was like.
