magnus wont put down rock

on my way out of ashbury i stopped to talk to the wise woman and magnus picked up that giant rock and wont put it down. he is significantly encumbered andkeeps fainting. help!

Have you tried moving it into your own inventory and then dropping it yourself?

 

figured it out

to make a follower drop something just drag it to the drop circle thing

 

Or if he keeps taking it again, you take it from him, tell him to spread out, then drop it and walk away. Should work wouldn't know as I have yet to get there.

 

To take it out, get the boulder first in your inventory then drag it into that hand thing. Can't seem to work if I just drop it onto the hand. Any alternative would be nice. :smile:

 

just drop it when in world map, then bugger off somewhere else.

 

Put it in a trash can... :smile:

 

drop it on the world map is a really stupid bad idea cuz these rocks in ashbury are part of a quest
just put an item in magnus inventory so he cant pick up the rock any longer cuz he has no room anylonger

This happened to me yesterday. I was chatting away to Geoffrey Tulland-Ashe in Ashbury, when I noticed Virgil was missing. I back-tracked and found him struggling along miles away across town. He'd picked up a rock and was frantically trying to stop himself from passing out. :smile:

I just removed it from his pack by dragging it over the drop arrow.

 

sometimes the followers behave really STUPID
