Magickal Aptitude Problem

    Hi, I just re-started playing with my first magickal character. I noticed that my magickal aptitude fluctuates at times. Sometimes it is at 30. Other times it's at 40, then back down to 30 again. The times that I noticed this happening were when I bought/sold stuff at the magickal armory in Tarant. Anyone have any ideas what's going on? Thanks!

    maybe it beacause you put tech skills?
    lockpics, repiar,and stuff?

    Nope. I have absolutely no tech skills. The only skills I've invested in are melee and dodge. Could it be another bug?

    yeah!

    yeah it could be , say waht version do you use?
    cuz in the beta there is a LOT bugs!
    maybe that is the reason?

    Same problem

    I've seen the same problem. Are you wearing items that improve technology skills? I had an item that improved lock picking, and that appeared to reduce my mage's magical apptitude...

    Hmmm, I'm not sure. I'm wearing Magick Chainmail, regular worn boots, Shield of Force and a dagger. I'm not sure the proper name for the dagger, but it's magickal. I don't have a helmet or gloves. So, I don't think any of these things have are tech-oriented. Unless, it's something in my inventory. Off-hand, I'm not sure what I've got.

    Melee and dodge are not tech skills.
