Magick Ring and it's 'uses'...

Sorry for the dimwitted question...again...but I have acquired a ring called "Magick Ring"...it has +10 on several resistances and then shows uses of 10. I am familiar with weapons that have uses, such as staves and swords...the uses button appears, but with this item, the button does not show up. Does anyone know how to access the magickal functions of non-weaponary items? I'd appreciate it!

It should just increase defenses. I don't remember seeing the # uses on it. Are you patched?

 

Patched? I'm not sure...I have downloaded the no-level cap patch...is there another one?

There is an offical patch available from Serria. It fixes a number of known bugs, What you have is a mod. Mods may insert new bugs, especaly is used in combination.

i found a magic ring and it had the uses label on it, even with the patch.
