1. Does mastery of a spell college reduce the cost for maintaining spells too? 2. Considering the above in the end which college mastery is more worth getting? Force or temporal?
Yes. Depends on your character. Mastering Force is crucial for a jolt spamming pure mage, while mastering Temporal is invaluable for a turn-based fighting battle mage.
Yea, so temporal Lovely... I get to be the fastest bow in all of Arcanum without having to tow a whole wagon of fatigue potions How does mastery improve the spells anyway? Besides the cost...
Begin able to cast Tempus Fugit by spending 25 fatigue and having the half maintanence on Tempus Fugit + Haste is a enough bonus for mastery. So is being able to seperate people into their molecules for 25 FT.
Ah yes, that calculation is indeed excellent. I'll just correct, that casting TF will cost 20 fatigue (since it's 40 without the mastery), and the TP + Haste combo - 30. The maintenance cost for this combo equalt 3/10 seconds, so even with as little as heal rate 3 one regerates fatigue as quickly as he loses it, giving him the possibility to mentain the mentioned combo with practically no time limits nor potions.
Yup... if only you could maintain more than 5 spells Very powerful combo, I can tell ye that much for sure. Slow Time + Haste for me/Virgil + Shield for me + TF = Pure Ownage. Even Stringy Pete and his bunch is no match. P.S. Do I have to kill him, or can I get his Arcane Items someplace else?
Ever heard of thievery? None of his items are unique, though. They are very rare, yes, but possible to get in other places.
Yes... I tried at least 3 dozen times to steal his shield, I always fail. I am in the process of trying to do it even as we speak.. I am beginning to think it isn't possible to steal from him.
Are you even a thief? Stealing a shield right from someone's very hand is not a piece of cake. I'm not even sure if it's possible to acomplish for the master pickpocket without some support from a higher force. Two words: fate points.
