magic thieves. please help.

does anyone know if your magic aptitude impacts on your picklocks skill. im a mage with 100 MA maximum dex and five points to spare. would this be a waste of my cps :???:

 

Your lock picking skill is tech, it decreases your magick aptitude. As for the other way round- logically it should have an impact, but I am not sure if it does.

 

Studies have shown that if there is an impact of MA on lockpicking, it is too small to notice.

I prefer lockpicking to Unlocking Cantrip as it doesn't wake the entire city.

 

hey thanx dudes. unlocking cantrip sucks major ass. its almost useless. so, infact is most of that college of magic. except for teleportation of course. and has anyone been able to figure out how to get that f#*king sword in the ancient maze?

 

You can't get it. It's just there to annoy you. Some people have claimed to get it with the map trick, but I haven't the patience to duplicate their feat. Anyway, people who've looked at the game files say it's just an arcane sword, nothing special.

There was supposed to be a "walk through walls" spell but it was never finished or included or whatever.

i somehow got it once but dont remember how but the conveyance spells may do it like spatial distortion may do it it lets the user trandsport to an empty tile nearby

 

Doesn't work when there is an obstacle. So: spatial distortion doesn't work to get that sword.
