Looking glass rifle - ho can beat this!!!

You know I'm at the end of the game and I haven't meet yet a real chalange (on normal).
The looking glass rifle ROCKS. 40-40 damage,
40-40 fatique, nothing can beat this. Yes I'm a human 100% technologist, master firearms with 20 dexterity (the rifle is slow but with a speed of 25 you can fire 5 times) and 20 perception. A lot a monsters
just fall on the ground out of fatigue, the BOOM ... they die. Not to mention the huge range.
If anyone can beat this please step in front.

Well...

Nothing bets a good sized party. I have 5 trusty biting/slashing/shoting warriors with me. Figths usually finish without my involvment(?). Mark of a true gentleman, yes?

 

Well, in guns..

The tranq gun beats it, the tesla gun beats it, the elephant guns beats it..

 

And in magic Disintergrate.
30,000 damage per hit :evil: instant death

The hand cannon beats it in performance tests, against ore golems and in terms of speed. that thing is SLOW

hypervelocity gun and a couple of other found schematic guns whip the shit out of it

as far as disintigrate, so far all it does is tingle my tech dwarf. although, funny , i can cast AND use teleport (and then faint)

 

It depends on the character. I had a character who could move a bit then fire an LGR twice, and it was the best firearm I had (although I did take to using the little weapon you make with an Ancient Chassis and a V-groth Large Bore.) against targets that had high FR.

To Aldarad : you are right my man. But what kind of hero is the one ho lets other people fights for him.

To all of you magic people: I know Disintergrate and it's hard stuff . I've played with a mage also. But have you try disintegrate on a 100% tech, level 50. No!!! Why? Because there is no one in the game. Magic dudes high level: remember final battle?

To other technologists: Have you tried all the weapons you are talking about? Elephant gun? Sucks. And don't forget people!!! Just one small and simple bullet. And you don't have to be in the same screen with your enemy!!! Of course is slow but for this 25 speed exist.

Exactly. That's why disintegrate is the best "weapon" in the game.

 

i think we can find the answer to this question by testing it in multiplayer...

Yes I've tried. For me wasn't quite special. Yes is fast but use 6 bullets for one shot and the damage is variable (sometime small, sometime good). So not very impressive.

and as far as lgr goes, the patch reducdes the damage to 10 - 30, with fatigue of 1 - 15.

The Blade Launcher, Elephant Gun, and Mechanized Gun all beat that.

The rifled cannon rocks, it ignores all resitstnaces. I blew off a ore golems head with one today.
