anyone know how to get this guy to join you, or at least decide to come back to be the beefy dwarf king that he is? I finished the game a bit ago, and got the bad dwarf ending, doing it again with a diplomat, but still cant seem to convince him. I dont have magnus in my group, so i dunno if i can do the iron dwarf thing or not (i skipped that quest line last time). Im just curious how to get this guy to quit throwing a pity party for himself (=
waht you need to do is talk to his son about the stone and the shape or something like that, you need alot of int to initiate the dialog about it with the son. Then later when at the convicing to come back line there will be a new option about the sape thing
Ahh.... i guess thats why it didnt work. I was all cha and no int (great politician, eh? *wink*). When i run through as a techno guy ill see what happens, thanks for the reply -
