Liam Cameron subquest ( spoiler)

I found liam's body and went back and told his mother but did not receive anything from her. Finally went back and destroyed the gate, again returned to tell Mrs. Cameron and still did not receive anything. Wasn't she supposed to reward me with something based on tech or magic?

Did you bring back Liam's book with ya ? you're suposed to give it to her and explain how he's spell/trap saved the world and hence he was really the hero of it all.

Magick item is a Mage's Dagger, Tech item is a Magnetic Inversion Hat (or something like that, it's actually the one she's wearing).

 

I never did find his book. I searched his house and the area just around it but no book. When I took the trail south I eventually found him and the gate. Where should I be able to find the book?

Or if you got a rusty dugger with you, you can cut out his heart and bring it to her!

Liam's journal should be in the locked chest in his workshop. If you can't pick the lock or cantrip it open, then bash it. Liam's dead, he won't care.

Has anyone tried resurrecting him? I wonder what his mom would give you if you brought him back alive.

The book is in an unlocked nightstand next to the bed. The locked chest has his spare magic and tech portal-destroying devices, in case you have this thing about looting dead bodies (I wonder if you can win the game without looting a single body?).

I haven't tried rezzing Liam, but I've tried it on other characters who died in the course of the storyline (like that author) and it simply failed each time.

Anyway, Squire James is probably right. It's been a while since I played. It's definitely in one of the three containers in his shack.

And regarding the resurrection... So the spell/scrolls fail, huh? Oh well. How about that level two black necro spell that lets you talk to the dead? Anyone tried that on Liam's corpse? Does he have anything to say besides the usual "OOoooh!!! Nooooo!!"?
