While pondering over the world map of Arcanum, I realized something odd. None of the rivers or oceans appear to be named. I know I encountered someone in the game who named the river Tarant sits upon (I believe it was Hadrian's River, but I'm not 100% sure) but do we ever learn the name of the oceans/seas that surround Arcanum or the numerous rivers throughout?

Does anyone here happen to know?

The Tarantian river is called "The Hadrian".

Other than that, I haven't got a clue.

The Taratian Library may have some info 'bout the city's history.

I think I recall the name to the river that separates Caladon from the Elven forests, the one with the Lethe Beast and the bridge. I don't really remember, though.

Edward Teach mentions quite a few landmarks in his stories.

^Indeed, all you have to do is be patient, read the books carefully, pay attention to what some NPC's tell you, and you'll probably find a lot of information around.

Lord Winter asked specifically about the names or rivers and seas, though. I myself don't recall any being mentioned by name with the exception of the Hadrian. Islands, yes, but not the waters around them.
