Kietzel Pierce's Missing Apprentice

After about half an hour of searching, I gave up looking for Kietzel Pierce's apprentice near Blackroot. Now I'm in Caladon, and when I talked to him he was sad about his apprentice's disappearance. Being a basically nice bloke, I reloaded the game to just before I spoke with him, in the hopes that I could eventually find this idiotic apprentice and bring Kietzel the good news.

So where is the bleedin' eedjit? I couldn't find him anywhere near Blackroot.

 

Same here. Either he's not supposed to be found and you're getting trained to be a Bow Master for being a nice bloke or the apprentice is wanderingis one of those towns you haven't got to yet

 

if i remember this correctly the apprentice is somewhere in the barracks
where the Master Melee is... i forgot wich town
it has a king that gave you the quest to go to Black Root,
and it has that somesort of a pit for a prison

The apprentice is in Dernholm. Just talk to Elite Bow Guards for a while.

The Elite Bow Guards are the ones in brown. Dudley has joined up to get paid while training rather than killed while adventuring.
