Unless they are forced by the game in fixed locations to be jammed, of course. But if jamming is player-made, listen to the man above.
This makes clear the vast amount of explosives I pleasantly wasted blasting the living bejesus out of chests. (I had no idea that chests unjammed)
You're not alone, DF. I had no clue this happened. I always figured I screwed the lock up permanently. Assumption is the mind killer. Right next to fear and Boy Bands. .. .. How inclusive is this lock reset? In other words, if I pick a lock is it relocked 24 hours later? And is the reset similar to venders chest, in that they need to be out of view to reset if you sleep/rest for a day?
Fear. Fear is the mind killer. (And assumption.) Alright, fear and assumptions are mind killers. (And hormones.) Gah, fine. Fear, assumptions and hormones are mind killers. (And boy bands.) ARGH! FUCK YOU, INNER VOICE OF REASON!!
Hell, but what's more fun than living up the frustration of a jamming lock with some dynamite/fireflash/shiny axe. Waiting 24h to relock? How awkward! Yessiree, it takes precisely 24 Arcanum hours for a lock to unjamm. Not a minute more or less. And jammed locks aren't as shy as shopkeepers' chests, you can stand right next to them and after 24h they unjam on your very eyes.
Why did I post the whole Spanish Inquisition thing? I've seen it at like three places on these forums now.
