jammed chests

if a chest is jammed, is there any way to get it open without destroying it?

 

sleep for 1 day i think

 

Sleeping a full day is the only way to "unjam" it. I've wasted a lot of time on this, but I don't know any way around it - especially if you only have lockpicks. Umlock cantrip works nicely, but it still needs to be "unjammed".

 

sleeping works to un-jam it, but i think it also un-lockpicks it...its an unfair world
