Is this game so easy for everyone?

I created a char 4 days ago, half ogre with the circus thing background that made me start with 18 STR. Since enemies were so easy, i switched to hard difficulty. Today i finished the game at level 50 with no follower needed. With 24 str 20 dex and master in melee skills i kill most opponents in one hit and have 100 in magick, which makes that they never hit me (thanks to the various magic shields i use) Whats the point?
Is it this way for everyone?

Yes the game is fairly easy. But on specific setiings like meelee mage. but try playing a tech and you'l find yourself in a world of hurt

 

Yes, I think its for everyone.

 

Playing a tech character is a challenge ufortunately only until you get your hands on a good weapon like LGR.

 

my first game i played a tech char and i found it rather easy only twice i ran out of ammo in a dungeon and had difficulty, but i was on normal difficulty though, my current game i'm going with magic and kicking butt all over.... whew big post... kinda

Not all tech characters are hard to play. Take my half-orc for instance. By level 50, he had master melee and dodge (it is possible to get both without cheating you know), 20 strength, 20 dex, 20 intelligence and had completed the Smithy discipline. Oh, he also had 12 skill points left over. He was tech (used a pyrotechnic axe, I'm sorry, it just shits on every other melee weapon in the game, no questions asked).

My gunfighter had a few challenges though. Then he got the LGR. Then I patched the game, and the LGR sucked. Then he got Droch's Warbringer. Game over. Finished at level 44 with at least 9 skill points left over.

Well, I've started to play a tech based thief, and it was quite hard at the start, as she didn't have much in the way of combat skills and Virgil seems to dislike healing himself :smile:

She's up to like 12th or so level now, and has just made herself a repeating rifle, and is doing a bit better.

I don't expect it to get easy for a while yet, though :smile:

I have played a tech and it's easy for me. I suck a gaming. It makes me feel special, God knows my self-esteem needs the boost.

Obviously you misquoting people is one of those things :smile:. I came up with the saying myself, and I'm rather proud of it. It fits me, and my philosophy on life. Which I won't get into here and now.
