Hey, I was just wondering...does having a higher intelligence in any way affect spell casting? I never really put any points on intelligence, and when I make mages they are rather weak spell wise....so if I put some more CP's on intelligence would it help?

No, the power of your spells depends on your magickal aptitude. However, intelligence determines how many spells you can keep going at once. For every 4 int you can have another spell going for a total of 5 spells. The little boxes at the top of the interface, you know....

But the main thing is your MA.

Thanks, I forgot about the number of spells you could have at once. *smacks self on head with book*

But does Intelligence affect your dialogue drastically/at all? Or does high Charisma change it?

Just about everything changes it. The big ones are intelligence, charisma, persuasion, and NPC reaction. More often charisma than intelligence, I believe. If you know where the big intelligence-dependant conversations are you can get away with using an essence of intellect beforehand.

I like to max intelligence anyway just for the +10 to skill bonus, but I'm usually playing a techie.
