installs fine...cant see backround or characters..

    so i just tried installing it on my laptop, and it works fine, till i actually get past creation and into the game. the backround is black, i see the text, but it stays and stacks up, and when i move the mouse it creates glitchy streaks.


    ive tried searching , but i havent found anything to help, laptopp was xp and pc is win 7. very annoyed pleae anthing to help, i installed the latest patch and you uber patch you have, but still the same.

    I had this happen once with an XP laptop and I found that running it in safe mode worked.

    mainly depends on the laptop specs.

    XP doesn't like Arcanum. Play it in safe mode and it should work fine.

    it works fine with my XP, thats why I say it depends on the laptop/comp.
