Gladys - she's the one who wants her ring back, right? Look in Northern part of Dernholm, she has a house there, it's not hard to find it really (but there is no exact address either). Numbers - they show how much experience in a given discipline you need to assemble an item. For example symbol of anvil and 20 shows you must have 20 experience in Smithy. You can raise your experience either by learning schematics in a given discipline or by buying technical manuals in Tarant. You just need to have those manuals in your inventory and as for how much expertise you gain from each of them is determined by your intelligence.
