I've got the "My cat died on Monday and I didn't find out until last night but I had a weird dream she was trying to get my attention and in great pain at some point Monday morning" blues. Anyone else have an awesome pet die after they had to move?
When I was a kid my pet hamster died. My reaction was to go through to the kitchen and say "Mum the hamsters dead." I didn't give it another thought and carried on with my day. Saying that if my cat that lives at my mum's house died I would be a bit more upset, but it wouldn't take me long to get over it. I can see it now... "Tonight on the Planet's Funniest Dead Pets, John takes Rover skateboarding: 'Why won't you do it like you used to boy, WWHHHYYYYYY??!??!!?' [riotous laughter, applause]"
Their expertise in stuffing pussies is commendable. But on a more serious note, Grossenschwamm, I'm sorry to hear about your little friend, however late my sympathies might be.
Hey, it happens - But thanks. Unfortunately, my dad's cat turned out to have lymphoma after two months of diarrhea and had to be put down eight days after my cat died. I was proud of that cat, though; Whenever he used the litter box, you could swear a homeless person snuck in the house and decided to ignore the toilet. Bizarrely huge cat dumps, I should say.
